Task Response

Position, relevance, and development of ideas across the response.

Lexical Resourse

Range, precision, and appropriacy of vocabulary.

Coherence & Cohesion

Logical organisation, progression of ideas, and effective use of cohesive devices.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

Range and control of structures; frequency and impact of errors.

All criteria are analysed using official IELTS band descriptors.
